The Three Steps To Building Ki Power By Applying Flux Theory To Karate Kata

Posted under self defense by Al Case

In this article I am going to tell you the real truth about building ki power through karate kata. This type of internal energy is actually easy to build, but I have never met an instructor who knew the secret of how to unlock the power. I don\’t care if you practice Japanese Karate forms, Korean Karate forms, Okinawan Karate forms, or whatever, the power can be built–you just have to know the three easy steps.

This concept is actually known in some Chinese martial arts, used in \’Kung fu katas\’ if you wish to call mix words. I take a more scientific attitude, I call it Flux Theory, which is just a fancy way of describing how to start the flow of energy and tap into it. Here are the 3 steps.

First, you have to push from ground. Most people think this is muscle building, or equate it to efficient motion, but it is far more than that. When you push from the ground you must concentrate on building and feeling the sensation of weight inside your push leg.

Second, as you push the body with the leg, you must start pivoting the hips. This is basic to many martial art styles, you will see it in karate kata forms, hapkido forms, even (and maybe especially) the taekwondo white belt forms. once again, you must focus on the sensation of mass moving through the leg, through the hips, up the body, and out the arms.

Third, and this is the very important last step, when you execute a hard punch you must feel like you are shaking water off your arms. The idea here is to get used to relaxing your arm as much as possible, then getting the feeling pulsing the arm so that the energy that went up your leg, rotated with your hip, is pushed down and through your arm. You focus, but having a tight fist is not so important, can even be a hindrance, to the feeling that energy is snapping off the end of your hand just like water would be shaken off your fist.

Make sure you have have good karate stance if you want to make this work, and this means you are going to have to analyze every stance in every form and make sure the legs are bent properly, not overly rigid, and so on. And, to make this power work in karate fights, you are going to have to align the hips properly, and turn them at exactly the right time. Do these things, pay proper attention to detail, and you are going to find that the ki power you are generating will be the ultimate karate weapon.

Now, the problem is that most instructors don\’t know this, and the forms are being altered for some odd idea of what karate combat is. If you have a fellow who is changing his karate forms to kickboxing stances, or some other MMA concept, then you are in trouble. Without the ground connection, the ki power won\’t build, and certainly won\’t go through the body.

The message here is that you must adhere to the classical forms. You must examine all the forms from all the karate styles, and I don\’t care if it is Shotokan Karate forms, goju karate forms, shito ryu forms or isshin ryu forms or whatever, and make sure they are sound and functional. This is the method I used when I developed Flux Theory, and this is how you are going to discover the true ki power available in karate kata

Joining the Marines

Posted under Legal Self Defense Articles by seolink

My brother is soon going off to Parris Island for Marine Corps training. He’s very excited about it and I believe ready for the challenge, but it’s been a genuinely hard decision in terms of our family. None of our relatives has been in any branch of the armed services, and though my parents think highly of those in the military, they’re wary of having a son or daughter trained to kill others, understandably enough. But I’m very proud of my brother for deciding to go to boot camp. He believes very strongly that we should be more aware of the cost of their personal liberties, and be willing to fight for it. He also thinks he can learn a lot from the Marines, including a discipline much more rigorous than he’s ever undergone before.

In any case, we’re throwing him a big sending off party. It’ll be at least thirteen weeks before anyone sees him again, so pretty much the entire extended family will be there. A lot of his friends from high school are also coming. I wanted to get my brother something to show I really support his decision, so I checked out some Marine Corps jewelry. I thought I’d get him one of these Marine Corps pendants, until I realized I could get him one of these for less money. A watch seems much more practical than a regular piece of jewelry. On the website I saw there were gifts for Marine moms, so I emailed my dad as a strong suggestion.

Having a son in the Marines will be hard for my mom, in particular if my brother sees active duty comparatively soon. My father, on the other hand, seems to be in general proud of his son. My dad will help my mom through this. It’ll be hard for all of us to see Charley a lot less frequently, but that’s just modern life. It would be the same if he moved to a different state or even country. Overriding all other considerations, I know this decision is a good one for my brother, and so I’m happy for him.

What’s hot on fifty Cent

Posted under Legal Self Defense Articles by seolink

His thirst to require over led him to start out his own record label and clothing line, G-Unit, act in feature films and provide voice-over for popular video games. Not to say owning ten% of Vitamin Water, later purchased by Coca Cola for $ 4.1 billion dollars. This man gets paid.

A true survivor, 50 Cent grew up on the mean streets of South Jamaica Queens, New York where he sold medicine at the age of twelve during the 1980’s crack epidemic. He was raised by his grandmother after his mother was killed, and he was shot 9 times in front of his home on Might 14, 2000. His survival gave the rapper a controversial and somewhat legendary image. His outstanding story propels him to continue creating hits and building his own fortune.

In 2003, fifty Cent released his debut album, Get Made or Die Tryin’. It was a rapid success, selling over 870,000 copies within four days. Interscope quickly granted him his own record label, G-Unit Records, that very same year. While operating with the rising artists on his label, 50 released his sophomore album, The Massacre. It featured hits like “Just a Lil Bit” and “Candy Shop” featuring Olivia, the sole lady on G-Unit records. His sophomore album was a success, selling over 5 million copies and garnering a Grammy nomination for rap album of the year in 2005.

He lost that year to Kanye West, and also the record breaking rappers did the legendary cowl of “Rolling Stone.” Each rappers had albums that dropped on September 11th, and the release was played up by the media as a rivalry. However, they both have created it clear that it is nothing additional than friendly competition.

50 Cent has been keeping busy traveling around to market his new self-titled third album, Curtis. It’s another club banging, story telling, boastful fifty Cent classic. This album was highly anticipated by fans everywhere who wished to understand what was on the rapper’s mind when letting go of Olivia, publicly beefing with rapper, Cameron, and competing with Kanye West in album sales. It alsoshows fans a totally different aspect of the rapper, a additional sensual side, with songs like “Amusement Park,” that we can assure you isn’t an area for kids.

fifty Cent promises fans that this year will be a big year. In addition to promoting his album, he recently launched his own film production company, G-Unit Films. He has been working on a feature film with Nicolas Cage, known as “The Dance,” and is set to star opposite Robert DeNiro in “Righteous Kill.” With a production company, a record deal and many different business ventures under his belt, it is plain to determine that there’s a heap more to the present rapper than meets the eye.
